Tuesday, February 27th, 2007Collier County, under pressure from the Florida Department Environmental Protection, has adopted a new plan that would allow tourists and seasonal residents to purchase a beach parking pass that would be good for one year. The cost of this pass would be $30, as opposed to the $10 per week pass now in effect. It is hoped that this program will start this March. Collier County residents will still be able to get their beach parking stickers for free.
